A piece for my solo show at the Lineage Gallery in 2006. Joshua Clay, at the time was my assistant, painted the gaesha holding one of my iconic koi’s.  Josh worked with me in my studio for a year.  I strongly believe I’ll never find a more talented, resourceful, and hard working assistant than him.  Josh’s career took off right after he left my studio and is still making incredibly detailed, stylized, and hyper rendered paintings today.
