Acrylic on Birch Panel

“This project was originally slated for a 3M vinyl print. However after thoroughly inspecting the site, I advised we went with an actual painted piece mounted on french cleats with a 1″ floating mount. The creative process of this was unlike anything I have done in quite some time. Going back to my more illustrative and playful roots, it was a liberating experience. What was actually the most enjoyable part of this was the exhaustive research I did for Oregon myth and folklore. Represented here are Oregons diverse ecospheres, in correct order from the coast on the left and up to the border in the high plains desert. Below is a diagram elaborating on every region and the entertaining myths.”
